ÇETIN OSMAN BUDAK

I was born in Antalya in 1960 and after primary, secondary and high school education (Industrial Vocational High School-Turning and Grinding Department) in Antalya, I attended Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Business Administration (Muğla) and graduated and moved to Istanbul for my career in business. After the military service as Assistant Lieutenant I returned to Antalya. And started as a Mediterranean Regional Manager of a national company in Antalya. In 1990, as part of Budak Paper Ltd. Şti. and in 1995, Odak Kırtasiye Ltd. Şti. I started regional offices in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Mersin both companies still continues to be the leader in their areas in Turkey.

Between 1995-1999, I became a member of ATSO (Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Profession Committee Member and Chair, 1999-2001 ATSO Assembly Member, 2001 ATSO Board Member, 2005 2005 ATSO Deputy Chairman of the Board. I was elected as the Chairman of the ATSO Board of Directors in 2009 elections and in 2009 I was elected as the board of directors of TOBB with the votes of the delegates of the TOBB (Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges). In 2013, I was appointed as Vice-President of TOBB.

In 2008, I was elected to the position of Chairman of AOSB (Antalya Organize Sanayi Bölgesi) and Deputy Chairman of Entrepreneur Committee. I continued these duties until February 10, 2015. Antalya Tanitim ve Turizm Geliştirme A.Ş. EXPO 2016 Antalya, BAKA (Western Mediterranean Development Agency), ASBAŞ (Antalya Free Zone a: Antalya), as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chairman of Board of Directors of Antalya Congress Bureau, Chairman of TOBB Fairs Committee and Board Member of Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation (TEPAV) , ALDAŞ (Antalya Altyapi Danismanlik A.Ş), Zeytinpark A.Ş. I was a board member.

I stepped down politics by resigning all the posts I had on February 10, 2015. Upon the invitation of Republican People's Party Chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu, I applied for the 25th term CHP Antalya deputy candidate nomination. Apart from these, I have also been active in many non-governmental organizations. Underwater sports, football, athletics, mountain and highland sports, folk dances are in my hobbies. I am currently continuing my postgraduate education on Economics Politics at the Faculty of Economics of Akdeniz University.
